DS2 RPG General Status Report January 2009 USS Earth Commodore Christine Steichen has joined the Lorem. She is able now to enter a life form of her choice to observe anywhere in the universe. The choice seems to be simple... The Borg Queen... "Cube 234 and 564 have arrived at the pass, waiting for further instructions." "Sphere 19 is destroyed by an ion storm." "Cubes 1982, 3625, 6543 and 7754 have begon the assimilation of Species 3788 in grid 55569, 900 thousand new drones can be deployed in 6 hours." "Cube 76588 has addapted to the weaponsystems of Species 8798 and is destroying their defence fleet." "The defects of all medical drones have been adjusted." Just another day in the office of the Borg Queen. "Cube 69998 loses the omega particle again." "Borg Planet 14587 has been destroyed by one man who called himself a prior of the Ori. The Queen sets almost all her research drones to work to find out what happened to Borg Planet 14587 and how one man can destroy an entire planet." Players: Christine Steichen Starbase 369 Whether it was real or not, Commodore Van Nieuwenhove does not know. He met Q, a species called Lorem, a Borg drone... in a unreal world... He wakes up in sickbay. Bending over him is Doctor Enrico Jaladano. The doc turns to XO Captain Sigrid Johansson. "Don't worry Sigrid, he will be all right. How do you feel sir? That was... strange..." Apparently this Borg has sent Commodore Van Nieuwenhove back where he belongs, or was it Q... The Commodore has only been out for a few hours. Slowly he gets control over his body again. He turns and sees a Borg drone on one of the beds. It is not the Borg who introduced himself as Three. "It is deactivated sir. It is inactive. I would like to do some research on this borg drone, but I need your permission to do that." Players: Geert Van Nieuwenhove USS Thunderbolt Commodore Mechels has received an invitation to join the Lorem and experience a new way of life. At the same time in sickbay abaord the USS Thunderbolt Master Two is watching Commodore Mechels, lying on a biobed apparently in a deep coma. Master One seems to communicate with Master One who has entered the realm of the Lorem... Players: Helena Straetman,Caroline Keuleers,Willem Keuleers, Lieselotte Keuleers, Wouter Keuleers USS Walang The news of the discovery of a new kind of metal in the universe of the Trsterts arrives at Kirie Station a few days later. To the surprise of Station Kirie Commanding Officer Lieutenant Commander Doctor Lore Vladinski the Kiries themselves seem to be very interested in this metal. The Kirie even send an ambassador to the Trsterts universe where he is greeted and honored. Kiries do not need spaceships and fly through space as it is their natural habitad. A perfect chance also for the Trsterts to meet the Kirie. The Kirie ambassador is called Krje. After some looking at the strange metal he seems to understand. While everyone else is amazed by it Krje seems to find this not unusual. "It is the shell of an egg of the Klorts. There are not many seen for millenia. This shell must be very old. I am very interested where this has been found. The Klorts are a kind of far cousins of the Kirie... Players: Marianne Loogen USS Vertigo Day 169 17.24 The USS Vertigo enters orbit of Sgortema III. First scans are initiated. Day 171 14.00 Senior staff meeting. The first results of the scans are confirmed. There is an unknown power source on the planet 3000 meters below the surface. There are no structures or any other marks of civilization on the planet. There are only plant and animal life forms. Day 172 12.00 An away team prepares to transport as close as possible to the power source. Commodore Slater has ordered the team to be small with two engineers and two security officers. Players: Nadine Peeters USS Iceberg The USS Iceberg is on a secret mission. This mission is classified. Players: Jan Theys USS Atlantis Day 6 Two hours later in the meeting. Captain Walker speaks. "And finally, status of all three ships. Commander Yorlan, have the Elpaso (battle ship) ready within the hour. Have your crew ready, for a test flight. If you have to, push its limits. Commander T'pau, the scout ship (Arlington) has an inportant job in our mission. Have your crew ready, and inform the bridge. The Atlantis will monitor the progress,of both ships.Gentlemen, you have your orders." Commander Sonak Has a suggestion. "Captain, if I may. The Atlantis has cloaking device onboard has not?" Lieutenant Commander Jones is up to date. "Yes Commander, the Atlantis and and the Arlington have a cloaking device onboard." Captain Walker turns to Commander Sonak. "Sonak, you have proposal to make." "Yes, do the test flight, and an aditional flight while cloaked. And have the other ship locate it position." Walker givees his final orders. "All right Commanders, get your ships ready. Jones you and Sonak on the bridge. Chief Torak, glad to have you onboard the Atlantis. I understand you are that captain of engineering. Tomorrow we will see what the Atlantis is up to. That's all people." Later after the tests. Captain Walker gives his opinion. "Well done T'pau, bring the ship to the Atlantis. Have your crew check the ship and report to Mr Sonak." "Thank you Captain!" Walker continues. "Mr Yorlan, the last flight, chief Torak informed that there was a glich on the monitor, can you confirm." "Yes Captain, we ajusted, and corrected. Do you want another test?" "No commander, bring the Elpaso home, check the ship and report to Mr Sonak." "Will do Captain." Players: Johan Michielsens, Conny Parmentier USS Alice Cooper Aboard the USS Alice Cooper-B the search for Ambassador Jas Stevens has ended. The Ambassador is found and brought to sickbay. Apparently the Ambassador is in a deep coma. He is alive... Indeed Ambassador Stevens is walking around in a closed facility, meeting the strangest people. The one time he can communicate with another he only finds out that he is not supposed to be there and nothing is like he sees it... Players: Crew of the USS Alice Cooper Ovion (Hirogen Hunting Vessel: Ori Prior Horkan) The next visit of Ori Prior Horkan is another Borg planet. But this time the Borg are better prepared. "Hallowed are the Ori." Horkan greets the Borg drones and explains about the Ori, the Book of Origin and the path to enlightenment. But the Borg have heard this before and their previous experience with this Ori Prior ebded up in the destruction of a planet and millions of Borg. Hunderds of drones step forward and fall on their knees, pretending they are worshiping the Ori. The short moment Horkan is in confusion he is transported aboard a Borg cube in orbit of the planet. A transwarp conduit is opened. The cube travels to the borders of Borg territory. Horkan has nowhere to go. He is completely isolated. But again the Borg Queen has underestimated the power of the Ori. In less than an hour two Ori ships appear out of nowhere. Horkan is transported aboard one of them and the Cube is destroyed before the Borg could addapt. Players: Thomas van Rhee Earth Alliance Starship (EAS) Terradyne Drakh... Servant of the Shadows... It seems that not only the President, but also the Centauri emperor are under the influence of the Drakh. People aboard the ships in FMAR Draan Marr's fleet start to worry. Like Lieutenant George Henderson and Lieutenant Danny Vespa who have been serving aboard the same ship for ten years. They sit at the bar as if they have their last drink. "Oh come'on George. You know where this will end. Another civil war." "Always the pessimistic point of view Danny. Cheer up. Somebody will send an assasin and clear things up. You know how these things go." "Not us. Not us. The Narn maybe." "The Narn already tried and failed. It is somebody elses turn now." "What do you mean? Don't you even say that aloud. Oh well. I know you are right. Something has to be done. The entire economy is already collapsing. Somebody should be something... You George. Why not you. You are a good shooter..." "Ah you are drunk..." Players: Steve Elliot DS2 RPG General Status Report February 2009 The Lorem Christine Steichen is now a Lorem. Being a Lorem gives the perfect oportunity to study the universe. As Christine has entered the Borg Collective she first visits the queen who is worried about one man who can destroy an entire Borg planet. Christine follows the research drone who starts the investigation on this man. Research is slow and only little data comes in. The research drone known as 5 of 12 reports all data to the queen. Time is irrelivant to the Lorem. Christine does not have to wait. Data comes in from planet Helion, a Borg planet still under construction with 2 billion Borg. A man has apeared out of nowhere. Christine recognizes the man as an Hirogen. Strangely enough the sensor system of the entire borg planet Helion do not seem to work. The Borg have no view on what is happening in orbit. There could be a ship. The Hirogen carries a staff, probably some kind of weapon. And then he starts to speak to the Borg who approach. He tells them about the Book of Origin and the path to enlightenment and how Origin is the way to salvation. And this while the Borg drones try to assimilate him. But the Hirogen is somehow protected by a shield. Players: Christine Steichen Starbase 369 Upon arrivel in his office Commodore Van Nieuwenhove immediately starts to do some research on a Borg named Three. The Commodore reports to Starfleet Command about Q, the Lorem and the Borg... It could have been an illusion of some kind. The research on the Borg named Three is going slow. There is nothing to be found. Multiple databases, cross references, nothing seems to work. And then after a good night rest, the search restarts. During the night the main computer has not found anything. Even all reports of USS Voyager have been searched. There doesn't seem to be a Borg with only one number. That day after lunch Commodore Van Nieuwenhove sits down behind his desk. There is a message on his terminal. "I will meet you sector 24685, planet Vsorla. Master Three." Players: Geert Van Nieuwenhove USS Thunderbolt Commodore Mechels has enough of these Lorem who seem to kidnap anyone they desire. He orders the Lorem to send all Starfleet personnel back where they belong. He threatens the Lorem to have Master One do it. Apparently Master One has some power here. All Starfleet personnel has been returned to where they belong. Of course Starfleet Command does not laugh with the matter. Abduction is an act of war. The search for the Lorem has begun. Commodore Mechels also is cback on the USS Thunderbolt. With Jedi Borg at his side he has a very important choice. Players: Helena Straetman,Caroline Keuleers,Willem Keuleers, Lieselotte Keuleers, Wouter Keuleers USS Walang The Klorts are a kind of far cousins of the Kirie... The news that a trace of the Klorts has been found is very happy news for the Kirie. Although it is believed the Klorts have been extinct millions of years ago a possibility to learn about them is for the kirie extremely important. The Trsterts give Ambassador Krje everything he wants. But also Captain Hendriks and her crew can follow the progress. Players: Marianne Loogen USS Vertigo Day 172 14.25 The first reports come in from the planet Sgortema III. There is nothing yet to report. Lieutenant Commander Matz is in command of the away team. Lets prepare to go to warp!" Walker switches to the ships intercom. "All hands this the Captain, were preparing to go to warp. The Atlantis is a new class dreadnought class ship with W/F 11 up to W/F 13. We will test these abilities, your expertise and knowledge will be needed at all time's. Brigde out." Captain Walker communicates the last issues. "Chief Torak, bring the warp ingine's online. And keep an open comlink to the bridge." "Captain warp ingine's are online, we are ready." "Helm, let's go to warp." Helm officer Ensign Arkan does the countdown. "Warp 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 8 1/2 - 9 - 9 1/2 warp 10 Sir." Commander Sonak reports. "Everything is reading normal Captain." Walker wants to know everything. "Chief Torak!" "No problems captain, everythng is normal. Warpcore is stable." "Thank you, Chief. Jones, nothing to report Sir. Helm let's found out just how fast the Atlantis is, stay beyond 13 if you can. Ensign Arkan acknowledges. "Will do so Captain. Moving forward to warp 10 1/2 - 11 - 11.5 - 11.6 - 11.7." The Minbari and Narn in FMAR Draan's fleet send messages to their homes. But the replies are very clear. There is no Drakh activity on the Narn and Minbari homeworlds. But how are the military leaders going to be convinced of the threat? There is a young Lieutenant aboard the EAS Terradyne who offers a new idea: orbital scanning systems... Players: Steve Elliot DS2 RPG General Status Report March 2009 Lorem Christine travels to the planet Helion, a Borg planet under construction. The trip only takes a few moments. On Helion she can observe what exactly is happening. On the Borg planet Helion the Hirogen Ori Prior Horkan looks around when a dozen Borg drones are getting closer clearly to assimilate him. As the drones come closer Horkan raises his staff. Apprently the drones are getting confused, but a few moments later blisters appear on their skin. Some mechanical parts of their body just fall off on the ground. This is clearly a form of illness. It doesn't take long before the first drone falls down, shaking. A moment later it is over. It seems the Ori Prior Horkan has cursed the Borg drones with some kind of unknown desease. The drones try to addapt, but can't... The illness spreads. Farther away more and more drones seem to get sick. The more dones get the desease, the faster the sickness spreads... The Ori Prior Horkan is transported of the planet. But Horkan does not know somebody is observing him. Christine has seen an incredible powerful enemy for the Borg in action. Players: Christine Steichen Starbase 369 "I will meet you sector 24685, planet Vsorla. Master Three." The search for the Borg named Three seems to be over. But Commodore Geert Van Nieuwenhove doesn't take any chances. His orders are clear. He sends his fleet to sector 24685, planet Vsorla. Aboard his flagship, USS Mexico the Commodore and his crew can only speculate what is going on with this Borg. Almost a day later six ships enter orbit of the planet Vsorla. The crews have trained to anticipate the Borg. But as the moment comes, nobody really knows whether they are ready for the Borg or not. Commodore Van Nieuwenhove receives landing coordinates from Borg Three. But the COmmodore lands with a large army of security officers. The landing place is a huge field of only grass. There is nobody waiting. Just at the moment the Commodore wants to give the order to leave, one Borg drone is transported about ten meters away from the group. The Borg raises his hand. "Don't be afraid. I will not hurt you." The Borg drone starts to talk, but it is like time has stopped. Commodore Van Nieuwenhove does not seem to be affected, but his officers are. They do not move at all. "Like I said. Don't be afraid. Let me explain and then you can make your own decision. I do not have much time so I'll be short. I have been sent by my master, master One. There is something wrong with the space time continuum. The first of many has arrived in this galaxy. They plan to take over, even the Borg. I have to go. Will you help?" Borg Three speaks in riddles... Players: Geert Van Nieuwenhove USS Thunderbolt There is a large Borg fleet traveling through space. Federation space is far behind them and they are on their way to the Delta Quadrant. The fleet even finds an unknown and unexplored starsystem. But there is not much to see and the system has no inhabitable planets. A few away teams only bring back a load of dilithium. And the journey continues until Master One visits Commodore Mechels in his office. USS Recon Commander Carl Summer is just presenting a new crew roster. "Coomodore, we have detected some serious disruptions in the space time continuum. The entire galaxy has been affected. We must ask for your help." Commander Summer does not understand. "But Master One. You are an almost all powerful Borg Jedi Master from the 29th century. You have more powers than the entire Starfleet. How can we help?" "You must help the other species in the Galaxy. You must help the Borg, Federation, Klingons, Breen, everyone. I can lead you and give suggestions." Players: Helena Straetman,Caroline Keuleers,Willem Keuleers, Lieselotte Keuleers, Wouter Keuleers USS Walang The Kirie and the Trsterts seem to renew their relations after thousands of years. Thanks to Captain Hendriks and a little bit of luck the two species are back in contact with eachother. A delegation of the Trsterts even visit the Kirie home. The Trsterts talk about the early days and even celebrate some famous Kirie who are also known to the Trsterts. Most of those Kirie are still alive and they also tell stories of the almost long forgotten past. For the scientsist aboard space station Kirie I this is like a dream. They don't sleep, eat little and fast just because they don't want to miss anything. They realise they are part of the history of the Kirie and the Trsterts, two far superior species than they are... Players: Marianne Loogen USS Vertigo Day 172 18.12 USS Vertigo in orbit of Sgortema III. The away team has explored a part of the underground structure. It is more an old ruin. Day 172 20.13 It is clear that the power generator on Sgortema III is only working for 1 percent. It is not clear what will happen if the power output is increased. Players: Nadine Peeters USS Iceberg After an extreme classified mission the USS Iceberg returns to Federation space. But there is already a problem as soon as they cross the Federation border. It is Atad who reports some kind of distortions on their route to Starbase 447. "It is nothing serious sir. We can go around the distortions. A detour will not delay us more than a few hours." Players: Jan Theys USS Atlantis USS Atlantis... Commander Sonak reports. "Wormhole opening captain, we are being pulled in fast." Captain Walker knows he has to give orders fast. "Emergency stop." But Torak has some bad news. "Engines not responding captain. The engine's cannot take the presure much more!!!" Captain Walker needs more information. "Helm what is our speed?" Helm officer Ensign Arkan stays calm like Vulcans do. "Last speed was warp 14 we've jump forward, acording to my reading we are at warp 17." Seconds later... Captain Walker is concentrated. "Status!!!" Commander Sonak reports. "Acording to my readings we have cleared the wormhole." But Captain Walker needs more information. "Jones what's our position." But Lieutenant Commander Jones does not have the answer. "Unknown." Captain Walker does not give up. "Anyone know where we are?" Everyone looks at the main viewer. There is no regular space and stars, but the Atlantis is in a nebula. Beautiful colors like pink, blue, red and purple surround the ship. But then Commander Sonak has some disturbing news. "Captain we have lost contact with the Elpaso and Arlington. None of the two ships are detected by sensors. It is possible they are outside the nebula, but I think they did not go with us through the wormhole. We cannot make contact with Starfleet Command either. The nebula is of a kind we have not seen before. There is no match in the Federation database..." Captain Walker is not at ease. "Status!" Commander Sonak reports. "All decks report, no casualties. On the other hand decks report having no computer control." "Any signs of the Elpaso and Arlington." Ally Jones looks at her displays. She has some bad news. "No captain, we lost the Elpaso and Arlington during fligt in the wormhole." "Any chance they came outside the nebula." Commander Sonak only has logic to formulate an answer. "That is a logical asumption, but not possible since the Atlantis was the first ship to enter the wormhole." Arkan reports. "Captain sir, engine's are back online. All power restored." "Thank you. Captain to engineering, chief Torak thank you for getting the eingines back online." "Chief Torak speaking, we did not put the engine's online Captain. The engine's were never offline!!!." "Are you sure about that chief." "Yes Captain." Arkan has a new report. "Captain sir! The colors are fading." Commander Sonak has some more information. "We are being pulled forward, deeper into the nubula. Force onknown!" Captain Walker knows what to do. "Engineering, I need full reverse power." "Bridge, unable to comply. We lost total control of the ship!!!" Arkan can only confirm. "Engineering is correct sir, we have no control." Players: Johan Michielsens, Conny Parmentier USS Alice Cooper It seems Ambassador Jas Stevens is at two places at the same time. These Borg do not have a free will... A day later the ship arrives at a planet where only a primitive culture lives in a small area. Horkan is transported to the surface of the planet not far from the settlement. There are about three thousand people living on this planet. When Horkan comes closer he notices that a forcefield is protecting the settlement. He tries to lower the forcefield, but he does not have any success. It is clear the Ori technology does not work here. Horkan understands these people can be a threat to the Ori and he tries to destroy the planet immediately, but nothing happens. Some of the people see Horkan and look at him. Some of them walk towards him, but stay safe in the shielded settlement. Totally confused Horkan has no choice than to leave... They are not portals to another univers. They are not disruptions in time and they seem to have a natural cause. No alien species is involved. We have launched some additional probes sir. We are waiting for the probe's sensor readings." A few hours pass and the probes have done their work. Atad has a new report. "General sir. At first we thought the distortions had a natural cause, but they are not. There is a very small trail of these distortions all the way to the planet Thory. It is unlikely the hory are responsible for these distortions. To our knowledge they do not have any technology which can do this. A shield protects the inhabitants of Rumsor. Christine is able to pass through the shield. She follows one of the females. Christine learns that the woman she is following is called Zneb. But nothing really exciting happens. Zneb washes the cloths of the family. Later she makes dinner and serves it to her husband Flok and her two sons Jke and Dla. After dinner the boys clean the dishes while Zneb repairs their cloths. Just when Christine plans to leave and find womeone else to study, someone knocks on the door. As a good host husband Flok opens the door. Before him stands an elder man with a staff. "Greetings Flok." "Greetings Elder. What can I do for you?" "Actually I need to speak with Zneb." "Oh yes of course. I returned from the field a few hours ago. I have no knowledge of how long she... anyway. Please come in. Zneb... The Elder is here to see you." Zneb rises when the Elder comes in. She offers him a seat. "Greetings Elder." "Greetings Zneb. Can you tell me how long she has been with you? Do you have any idea what she wants?" "No Elder. She has not spoken yet. I think she is only observing. It must have to do with the Ori Prior. But she is not an Ori. I think she has followed the Prior here. We must be fascinating people." Zneb, the Elder and even Flok laugh. "Maybe we should just ask her,"says the Elder. "Is that wise Elder? Shouldn't we leave her alone? She is welcome to stay of course." "Indeed she is welcome to stay Zneb. I will address her." Zneb thinks for a moment. Then she nodds in agreement. The Elder looks straight to Christine. Apparently he can see her. That man can destroy the borg and even an entire planet all by himself. He has to be stopped. After the Borg, maybe the Federation is next. Commodore van Nieuwenhove accepts the proposition of Borg Three to become Borg. Three does not hesitate. His assimilation tubes move against the Commodore's neck. It hurts a little bit. Then he feels the nanoprobes enter his body. A moment later the Commodore doesn't seem to be in control of his body. His skin turns grey, small spiderlike objects come out from under his skin and grow into some kind of devices. Suddenly the Commodore can see better, smell better, think faster... He looks down to his leggs. A thin layer of exosceleton forms around his legs and feet. It is now he realises he is assimilated. But strangely he keeps his own identity. He does not hear the voices of the Borg collective. He makes his first steps with his new legs. He can move faster than ever before... After the assimilation is complete, Borg Three has a first task. "Commodore Van Nieuwenhove. I will transport you to the Borg Queen. You will need her help in defeating the Ori Prior who is destroying the Borg. I am sure she wants something in return. Please remember I will not be there and I cannot interfere. You are on your own." Without waiting for an answer Three transports Commodore Geert Van Nieuwenhove to the Unicomplex, just a few steps from the Borg Queen herself. When the Queen turns around, Geert explains that he wants to help the Queen and the Collective to fight the Ori Prior, destroyer of Borg worlds. But the queen steps forward until she is almost standing against Geert. "Why do you think I need your help. I can destroy you with one command." The Queen waves and immediately seven drones come closer ready to grab the Commodore. But Geert waves and the drones return to their stations. The Queen seems to be confused at first but she takes matters into her hands again. "That was clever. Apparently we seem to be equals. But you would not be here, if you didn't need my help. There is not much to see and most life forms still have to evolve into intelligent life. Fring's mission would have been a bit boring if there weren't so many natural phenomena to study. Super plasma conduits between stars, super novas, so many different stars... That particular period Fring thought he was alone in the galaxy, but he was not. Suddenly without warning the proximity alert sounded. A strange life form flew next to his ship. It was like it was swimming in space. Fring could not take his eyes of the life form. At first he thought it was a primitive being, but when the ships computer translated the sounds the creature made into understandable language, Fring realised he had encountered intelligent life. The creature called himself Losdan of the Kirie and invited Fring to meet his people. Fring was very excited that there were more of these magnificant creatures. He followed Losdan of the Kirie to a star not far away. There he met thousands of Kirie swarming around his ship... Fring send a report to his superiors and made the first step to become an ambassador for his people. Not long after a delegation arrived at the star of the Kirie. Fring himself stayed with the Kirie for many years, learned about their way of life, their peaceful exsistance, without many needs. The kirie have a totally different notion of time. And for the Kirie it didn't seem long, but years had passed and Fring had to return home to continue his duties for his people. He had reached the age to find a mate and have children... She changes her microscopic form into her human form. "So this is how you looked like before you joined the Lorem. You are human aren't you? It has been a long time since we had visitors. You can imagine our surprise when we had two visitors on the same day. One of them wanting to destroy us, and one who might be looking for something to stop the Ori. Yes yes, we know a lot. And no we are not like the Lorem at all. No and we are not Q either..." It is like the Elder can read Christines mind... "Come, I will show you what you are looking for. As a Lorem you cannot share that information with anyone anyway. The Lorem would never allow that. They have strict rules. As they should as with power comes responsibility. And the Lorem are very powerful." The Elder stands up says his greetings to Zneb and her family and leaves the house, followed by Christine. The village looks very peaceful. On their way through the village the Elder explains. "Many thousands of years we were like humans. We started to explore the galaxy. And while most of our people came dependant on technology, some of us rejected that as we think that technology can only lead to destruction eventually. That is what hapened to our people as well. Ambition, jealousy... You know. Anyway... We are the last of our people. We still reject technology. So you may wonder how we have protect ourselves against enemies like the Ori. Please step inside and I will show you." The Elder opens the door of a larger house. Christine enters followed by the Elder. They walk through a large room, enter a second door, walk down the stairs and enter a large cave. In the cave there are at least 40 people in two circles of 20. One circle is closed by the people holding the hand of their neighbour. Their bodies are surrounded by a bright aura. The second group is not yet complete and it seems this second group is waiting. "These are our mages. Not all of them, but a good part of them. They produce energy for the... what you would call the force field protecting our village. We have three groups which relieve eachother after one day. No no no. I am not a mage. I have an idea how they do this, but I cannot even imagine what it feels like. It seems to be very pleasant. The mages seem to love their... waht we call... day of protection." While Christine looks around she sees a few more mages come in for the second group They are greeted by the others, they are telling jokes, laughing... It seems to be a party. "I think," says the Elder, "that they enjoy it so much because they can release their emotions among eachother. Nobody understands a mage better than a other mage." The mages of the second group notice the Elder and Christine and almost at the same moment they approach them. They have a lot of questions about the visitor. But there is little time. The second group has to take over. Then one of the mages asks Christine to join them in the circle of protection. She can only observe, but she can experience a large part of the sensation... He will not only learn about the Borg, but also about the power of the force. "Yes my young padawan. You will learn much faster than another apprentice, but time is short. The new threat of the Ori has to be investigated. These disruptions have to do with the presence of the Ori in our universe. "We don't know that yet sir. But to blow up this kind of secured powerplant, you need a huge amount of explosives, or a mark 12 phaser cannon. I don't think you can move either of those close enough without anyone seeing it. We are currently starting up one of the main computers. Maybe we find something in the database." "Keep me posted Atad." "I will sir. Atad out." Almost a full day passes. Nothing in the database of the powerplant's computer reveales any important information. A small discussion starts when Lieutenant Burak suggests to search in the personal logs of the personnel of the power plant. "That is violation of privacy! We can't do that!" "They are dead. It won't matter to them. And maybe they would be happy that we do, so we can find out what caused this disaster." "That will not help the population of this planet. Leave them in peace." But Atad makes the final decision. The personal logs will be investigated because there are disruptions in time and space which could effect the entire galaxy. And indeed it was a good decision. Most of the personal logs and files have similar entries. These log entries note the coming of a stranger... Log entry 16498: Chief technician HSerta. "There is a man called Horkan. The first group releases hands and those mages step back leaving the protection of the village up to the second group. Christine notices that the releaved mages are extremely happy. While they leave the cave, they are still talking and even cheering. The second group has taken over. The leader has a heavy dark voice. "Who takes point today." All mages start shouting. It is as if they are all volonteers for whatever the leader needs them. But the leader seems to have a strict scedule. He calls out eight names. "The rest of you have already had the chance his week." Again he calls the eight names. It is as if Christine can enter the minds of all the mages in the group. She can feel the eight mages getting a bit nervous. All others seem to be slightly disappointed, but they had their turn already this week and they have to wait until next week. then it is as if the eight mages throw dice with a simple rule. Who throws the highest number wins. The leader makes his official announcement. "Lokroth. You are the lucky one. It is your turn today. Have fun." Christines notices that Lokroth is speachless. He is overwelmed with emotions. All other mages wish him good luck. But the leader has one more thing to say. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have a guest today. Her name is Christine of the Lorem. She will only observe. Yes yes I know it is much more fun to participate, but you all know that Christine is not allowed to do that. So are we ready?" All mages report they are ready. In fact they seem to be a bit inpatient. And then it begins. In their combined mind the mages mentally move to a portal where their minds enter another cave where Lokroth steps forward. Another mage shouts. "Lucky Lokroth. Any chance you switch places with me?" Most mages laugh aloud. Lokroth grins. "No way Dendro. I have been waiting far to long." Lokroth continues and now funtions as the spiritual guide of the group. The leader steps closer to Christine and explains some things. "While our bodies continue to emit energy to protect the village we have a mind game. Today Lokroth may go first. Going first gives you the chance to enjoy the game more personally. Lokroth will challenged by the other mages, one by one. Those challenges could be anything. You have to remember that this all happens in our minds. The outside world has no idea what happens here. Lokroth may take as much time as he wants, but he has to complete all challenges before the end of the day and the next group takes over." While the leader explains, Lokroth has turned around to face the first challenge of the first mage, Hundort. Hundrot waves his hands and shouts that this is his challenge. Out of nowhere a bowl of soup as big as a building appears. Hundort challenges Lokroth to eat all the soup. there is some laughter among the other mages. Hundort is not yet very experienced in the art of magic. Lokroth smiles. He waves his hand. The huge bowl of soup becomes smaller, smaller, smaller until Lokroth takes it between his two fingers and empties the bowl of soup into his mouth... Lokroth meets all challenges and as the game continues more and more challenges are getting the mages in a happy mood. Most of them are very funny, but easy. But then the last mage a female called Protata has a challenge of which he hopes Lokroth cannot complete. She steps forward waves her arms and changes in a large exteremely ugly dangerous looking beast. She growls. Lokroth can do whatever he wants but Protata has to look like herself again before the day is over. And as the day is almost over time is running out. Other mages already start shouting. "Leave her like that. She is beautiful." "No just kiss her that will do the trick." All mages start laughing, including Lokroth himself. The beast Protata growls. The mages laugh. Lokroth seems to be out of ideas... And then suddenly he comes up with something. Next to Lokroth appears a male version of the same beast Protata has changed into. The male beast has his huge tongue hanging out of his large mouth. Without warning it charges Protata who quickly changes back into herself. The male beast disappears. All the mages burst into laughter. The leader turns to Christine. "Maybe this seems a bit strange to you, but this is how we have fun. Actually we are already looking forward to tomorrow. Some of the Kirie have been there at the time the Trsterts and the Kirie met for the first time, but most of the Kirie know the Trsterts very well, even the younger ones. the Kirie are thousands of years old... It was the time when the Trsterts were beginning to explore the universe. And that was not without danger. Not only natural phenomena but enemies as well were considered very dangerous. In those days the Kirie didn't know many species. Most were not developped enough to travel through space. So the friendship with the Trsterts was very welcome. Many Kirie accompanied the scouts of the Trsterts on their travels through the universe. But some never returned, because they ended up in an ion storm or an unexpected supernova. Not many species were technological advanced. But there was one species in the region called the Lordoms which was and they were not friendly people. They liked to conquer. Once a Trsterts scoutship was exploring an unknown regio of space together with two Kirie. A battleship of the Lordoms stopped them asking what they were doing there. It were during those moments that the Trsterts were more and more amazed by the Kirie and the friendship between the two species grew more and more. Players: Marianne Loogen USS Vertigo Day 173 19.00 The USS Vertigo is in orbit of Sgortema III where a team has started up a very old power generator in a very old ruin. There is a senior staff meeting without Lieutenant Commander Matz. Matz is still in the city on the planet. Day 174 00.15 The city is almost completely powered up. Some of the automated transportsystems are lready working. Some of the members of the away team try the trainsystem and end up at the library, city hall and the local university the easy way. Day 175 11.14 Still exploring the city Lieutenant Commander Matz, two scientists and two security officers enter what they think is the hospital. To their surprise they discover hundreds of people in stasis chambers. They are all still alive... Players: Nadine Peeters USS Iceberg The USS Iceberg is following the trail of a ship which probably has a man aboard called Horkan. Horkan is a suspect in at least one case of mass murder namely the planet Thory. Atad has to make a serious plan to capture this Horkan or to kill him if necessary. But that doesn't seem simple. This man destoyed a planet's entire population. He must have some serious advanced technology at his disposal. Some weeks pass and the trail is getting stronger and easier to follow. But there is already a problem. During the senior staff meeting Atad brings up the problem while he stands at the main viewscreen. "Sir, if my calculations are correct, the trail indicates that Horkan's ship should be around here," Atad says while pointing at a location on the map on the viewscreen. And he continues. "According the latest intelligence reports that is Borg space. We will arrive at the border of that region in 30 days." 30 days later the USS Icberg arrives at the Border of what is thought to be Borg space. It is clear the Borg are expanding their teritory. But what does this Horkan of the Ori want in Borg space? Players: Jan Theys USS Atlantis Day 64 The search for the USS Atlantis, USS Elpaso and USS Arlington have been stopped. The ships are considered missing, but Starfleet has not yet made a final decision... Aboard USS Atlantis. Ships log "stardate unknown, all we know is that days we have been wondering around in vast unknown part of the galaxy we have no knownledge of is closing in on the crew. My wife T'lan has been acting as counselor since the first week we arrived. Commander Sonak together with Lt. commander Jones have been recording our route and our encounters. Our first encounters was with the Elementals, who has offers to help us. We declined! Chief Torak has build a small satellite that would last at least 1 year or more, hoping if it would recieve signals from both the Elpaso and Arlington when found. And posibly be able to communicate." End log "Captain the Elimentals are back." "On screen." Communications officer T'Opak pêns a channel. "Captain I have Councilor Denmak head of the Elimental emperial council." "Thank you, on main viewer." Denmak comes right to the point. "Captain Walker, have you reconsiderd our offer to have have of the Elimentals as your crew." "I have considerd it, myself and my senior officers will accept your offer. It will take time understand eachother, but we are willing to learn." "The Elimental's name is Annaka. Annaka's knowledge and information, will be past to your ship computer from time to time. As you know Captain as I informed before, we Elimantals are a Race of many Good and Evil andmany more races. Annaka will provide you with knowledge of the the races we know of. Furthermore we will provide aid and council when it is needed." Aboard USS Arlington Commander T'pau in command. Ships log "We have sucessfully attached the Elpaso with the Arlington to continue as one ship, for the during of the current time. Our chances of contacting the Atlantis have not been sucessful, since we are not certain if the Atlantis is in our space. First officer Yorlan believes that the wormwhole was created be a time distortion, I have acknowledged his conclusion. What is further a possibility, that the wormwhole brought us to an alternate universe. Science officers are recording our flight, and are loging our findings. We are currently on route to an M class planet hoping to find someone or something." End of log entry First Officer Yorlan has an unexpected report. "Captain, I am picking up a very faint signal." "Is it the Atlantis!" "I don't believe so, it is to faint to be a signal for a Dreadnought vessel. In could be probe of somekind." "Helm plot a course for the probe!!!" Players: Johan Michielsens, Conny Parmentier USS Alice Cooper Aboard the USS Alice Cooper-B Captain Kalee, Chief Engineer Lieutenant Commander Jelana Frankel-Stangya and Dr. Kory Caynizmyr are standing in holodeck one. They are looking at the first images which come from the brain of Ambassador Jaz Stevens. A large park is now clearly visible. It looks a bit like Central Park, except for the building in the background. The building looks like a hospital. Slowly some people appear. They seem to be sick or wounded people escorted by a nurse. Ambassador Jaz Stevens is nowhere around... Players: Crew of the USS Alice Cooper Ovion (Hirogen Hunting Vessel) And so Horkan the Ori Prior arrives at the planet Neaster. The people on Neaster are rather simple and as they do not have a religion on their own. When Horkan visited the vilages and showed some of his technology, the people are easily convinced to turn to the path to enlightenment. But there is lots of work on this planet for Horkan. There are thousands of villages and in total 9 million people... Players: Thomas van Rhee Earth Alliance Starship (EAS) Terradyne Aboard the EAS Terradyne... Tension is rising. Secrecy is increasing. Officers are not willing to share information with the men and women on board the ship. But everyone knows something is going to happen soon that will reveal the threat of the Drakh towards the humans and Centauri. Is it a matter of minutes, hours or days... The waiting is the hard part. Players: Steve Elliot DS2 RPG General Status Report August 2009 Lorem Chritine decides to stay with the people on the planet Rumsor. She is very interested in their magic. The elder takes Christine to Mage Guild Master Hundrak. Hundrak invites Christine into his house where he serves tea. "You must have many questions Christine. Let me start at the beginning. Long ago, nobody knows how long that is exatly, but it must be thousands of years, before we were born... There were two factions on this planet. One was called Moeral and the other Sermat. One of the problems was that the Moeral and the Sermat didn't understand eachother's language. The Moeral and Sermat were at war. Nobody knew who started it, but if a Moeral would meet a Sermat in the field or in the woods, he would kill him or die trying. Like in any other war, both factions have built bunkers, towers, forts, you name it. Not everyone was busy fighting of course. There are stories of Moeral and Sermat standing next to eachother fishing, or even helping eachother killing a predator which was a threat to them both. But in the cmonig years both populations were no longer growing because of the war. Actually what you see here in the village is almost all that is left of the Moeral. We protect it against the Sermat, but also against outsiders. To make this story short, there was a disaster. It is unknown to what had happened but the entire planet was disrupted. There were a lot of earthquakes. Our small population offered help to the Sermat, but they didn't understand. They either engaged us in battle or fled far away. We know there are still Sermat spread out on this entire planet, but we don't have contact with them. We think they blame us for the disaster thousands of years ago. We haven't seen a Sermat for at least five hundred years. We are concerned about them, but as we don't undertand them and they don't understand us, it will be difficult to come together and start a new society. Our mages are strong. We use willpower to conduct the magic. No no, we cannot change people into frogs. But as you can see we can ready your mind. We can fire shadow bolts and produce protective shielding. None of us has ever left the planet, not even in the time of the big disaster. But we as a species we are in trouble. We don't lose many, but there are not many new children. Most of us are to old to get children. That is why we hope to make contact with the Sermat. But we don't know where they are and how many of them are left. Our patrols do not go far from the villages. We don't want to lose more because of predators or a Sermat who attacks, because he doesn't understand we mean him no harm..." Players: Christine Steichen Starbase 369 Commodore Van Nieuwenhove looks at Borg Three. "What do we do now?" Borg Three looks at Commodore Van Nieuwenhove and then at Commodore Mechels who has taken over the Borg Collective. He adresses another Borg drone who is standing next to Commodore Mechels. "Master One, shall I take Commodore Van Nieuwenhove back to his starbase?" This is very strange. It seems there is one man,Horkan the Ori Prior, more powerful than the entire Borg Collective, who destroys Brog planets. There is a Borg who calls another Borg Master, A Starfleet officer has become King of the Borg... Commodore Van Nieuwenhove is either dreaming, on the holodeck or in an alternate universe. But he is not... "Master Three, maybe it is best you take him back, but we need all the help we can get. If this Horkan the Ori Prior continues, this Galaxy will fall apart. We have to find him and stop him. I have send Master Two on his way, but he has not found Horkan the Ori Prior yet." "I understand." A few moments later Commodore Van Nieuwenhove has returned on his starbase 369 where all the Borg implants are removed. While he is resting in his ready room, the Borg drone known as Master Three aks his help to find and stop Horkan the Ori Prior. Players: Geert Van Nieuwenhove USS Thunderbolt Commodore Van Nieuwenhove looks at Borg Three. "What do we do now?" A moment later Master Three and Commodore Van Nieuwenhove disappear. Commodore Mechels on the other hand is not really alone. An endless river of voices enters his head. All Borg drones seem to be connected. But his Borg implants sort everything out. Horkan the Ori Prior has not yet been found. Players: Helena Straetman,Caroline Keuleers,Willem Keuleers, Lieselotte Keuleers, Wouter Keuleers USS Walang While the crew of the USS Walang and members of the Scaton Federation learn more about the history of the Trsterts and the Kirie, the two completely different species come closer to eachother as well. More and more it becomes clear that the Kirie are an immortal race. Most of them were present when the Trsterts and the Kirie first met thousands of years ago. Scientists aboard the Kirie 1 station start a expanded studie of the Kirie. It seems the Kirie themselves have no idea where they came from. Players: Marianne Loogen USS Vertigo Day 175 14.12 On Sgortema III Lieutenant Commander Matz, two scientists and two security officers discover a hall with hundreds of people in stasis chambers, who are still alive. Day 175 15.12 Exactly one hour after Lieutenant Commander Matz asked for orders the discussion has ended in the observation lounge. Commodore Slater has made a decision. One of those people will be woken up. Day 175 16.03 The scientists are ready to wake up one of the people of Sgortema III. Lieutenant Commander Matz and the two security officers are standing closeby just in case. Players: Nadine Peeters USS Iceberg "Helm, follow the trail Atad has discovered into Borg space. We have no choice. This Horkan has to be found. We have no time to lose. We will follow the trail into Borgspace. We will see what we will do if we come across a Borg vessel, but for know it is important that we try to get Horkan." General Crow's orders are clear. The USS Iceberg follows the trail that should lead to Horkan. While the days go by, the trail is getting stronger and easier to follow. The Iceberg passes some of the planets which are distroyed by Horkan. Some of the remains on that last planet indicates it was a Borg planet. The USS Iceberg is on the right track. Atad has something interesting to add. "General, we are in the Delta Quadrant. We are no longer subject to the Treaty of Algeron. That treaty is only valid in the Alpha Quadrant. We can use a cloak now." The cloak is activated only an hour later. The USS Iceberg proceeds, folowing the trail. Two days and six hours later the long range sensors have detected three ships. There are of unknown design but they are the cause of the trail. Players: Jan Theys USS Atlantis The USS Arlington has lost all contact with the USS Atlantis, but has discovered a probe. But the USS Atlantis has lost contact with the rest of Starfleet. There comes an Elemental aboard with the name Annaka. It seems Annaka will be the guide of Captain Tom Walker and his crew. Players: Johan Michielsens, Conny Parmentier USS Alice Cooper All kinds of rumors are traveling around aboard the USS Alice Cooper-B. There seems to be a shift in reality or a shift from one universe to another. Some of the junior officers can only speculate. "Yeah, that's what I heard. Isn't that strange. And they had to tie him up. I have heard it from Ensign Hester. She knows. She is a technician in sickbay." "That can't be. Why should they tie him up. He is in a coma." "I also heard he is under the influence of an alien force, but I don't think that is true either. You hear all kinds of things..." "Hey you three. If you have nothing to do, better help me with this allignment of the warp coils." "Yes sir." "Yes sir." "Immediately sir." Players: Crew of the USS Alice Cooper Ovion (Hirogen Hunting Vessel) Horkan now has three Ori ships. He travels from planet to planet to talk about the Book of Origin and the path to enlightenment. He especially has chosen primitive civilisations. He gains more and more success. From the nine planets he has visited were two Borg planets which he had to destroy. That wasn't easy as the Borg seemed to be stronger. Unknown to Horkan the Borg now have a Borg King. And the Borg are addapting... Players: Thomas van Rhee Earth Alliance Starship (EAS) Terradyne More and more speculation among the crews about the President and the emperor of the Centauri. It is still not clear what the Drakh want... But the Drakh know exactly what they want. They want the power they used to have. They hope the shadows return and they will do everything in their power to accomplish that... Players: Steve Elliot DS2 RPG General Status Report September 2009 Lorem The Lorem Christine is on the planet Rumsor where the Moeral and Sermat are at war as long as everyone can remember. The Moeral have not seen a Sermat in 500 years... Christine has a talk with Mage Guild Master Hundrak of the Moeral. And she has come to a decision. "I will try to find a Sermat and talk to him. I could be a mediator in the conflict between the Moeral and the Sermat." Mage Guild Master Hundrak finds this to be an excellent idea. And so Christine is on her way, leaving the village and not forgetting the warning spoken by Mage Guild Master Hundrak: "We can see you, so they can see you. Be careful." Christine says goodbye. Apparently Christine cannot use her Lorem power on Rumsor. The magic properties of the planet prevent that. But she can morph to microscopic size. It is not clear where she has to search first, but she has received a map from one of a Moeral explorer. The explorer thinks the Highland is a good place to start. There are many hiding places like caves and high ridges. A few days later Christine has searched a good part of the Forest and the Higland. But she has not found a trace of a Sermat. Next on the map is a territory called Bad Lands. When Christine enters the Bad Lands, she can easily understand why it is called that. It is a desert as far as she can see. To her surprise there are actually creatures living in the dessert like large snake like animals, mammoths, and small rat like creatures. Christine has no choice but to cross the desert. Halfway there is a small lake. If there is a Sermat in the desert of the Bad Lands, he has to stop there to drink. When Christine approaches the lake she is suddenly surprised by four large humanoids rizing from under the sand. The next thing she knows is that she is hit... When Christine wakes up, she has her human form. She is tied up and whatever she tries, she cannot change her situation. She is in a tent. there are two large humanoids in front of the netrace, probably guards. Ten minutes later a large man comes in. His skin is green and he weares armor as clothing. On his back he carries a large sword. "So you are awake." Players: Christine Steichen Starbase 369 Commodore Geert Van Nieuwenhove offers his help to Master Three to find this Horkan the Ori Prior and stop him. But it is not an easy task. There is no sign of Horkan anywhere in the Galaxy. The Commodore has sent out his ships and the Starbase resources are used to the limit, but it is clear finding Horkan will be a team effort. More ships and personnel are needed. And they arrive indeed. Starfleet Command has sent other ships out as well to search for Horkan the Ori Prior. If this Horkan is captured he could be a great ally holding of the Borg or any other enemy. Even the Klingons are discussing the issue. But the search takes long until the USS Iceberg under command of General Jan Theys has found a trail most likely of one of the ships Horkan is traveling with. The data of the trail is spread among the searching ships. Players: Geert Van Nieuwenhove USS Thunderbolt The USS Thunderbolt and USS Recon are again on their way. This time accompanied by 20 Borg battle cubes. Their target: Horkan the Ori Prior. Commodore Mechels, now King of the Borg has only one order. "Annaka, how are we doing?" "Captain I doing fine, the ship is slow to understand our language. Therfore I am modifying ship language programs to our standards." Sonak has a new report on the location of the USS Atlantis. "Captain we have just jumped about 35.000 lightyears from our orginal position." Captain Walker doesn't think that is funny. Players: Steve Elliot DS2 RPG General Status Report October 2009 Lorem Christine decides to try to talk to these people. She could be a mediator in the conflict between the Moeral and the Sermat. But she has to find out who these people are first. The green man looks upon Christine as if she is a price he won in a tournament. Then his face changes. "Yo ain't one of them. Yo look like them, but yo ain't. There is a thing on yo. I ain't sure. Do yo know who I am?" But Christine doesn't know. She has no idea. But before she can answer the big green man starts to laugh. "And yo understand what I say. They surely had yo there. What a joke. Did they send yo? They ain't told yo about who we were? For thousands of years we are in war with them. Everytime we slaughter them or they win... with lots of luck. But we get them back. Every time we resurect on our graveyards..." Then the green man becomes very serious. Christine understands that the man is a Sermat. The Moeral have not seen a Sermat in 500 years and in the short time Christine is on the planet Rumsor she has already seen more than a few. The Sermat officer continues. "The last few hundred years we avoided them. We held competitions among ourselves, duels. There were only a few encounters with them which ended peacefully. Yo know, we ain't losing our guard. But when one of them is fishing in our rivers, we leave him be these days. We are ready to stop them if their armies come. And they know that. So they do not attack us anymore. We will kill them all. We hate them for what they have done. We hate them and we will kill them when we see them. Make no mistake." Just as the Sermat Officer apparently becomes furious, a Sermat soldier comes in, apologizes for the intrusion, but he has an interesting report. "Sir, scout team 16 has patroled the Summerdawn River area and they saw one of them fishing." A moment of silence passes. "And?" "Slodok sir. He was standing fishing there too. Only five steps away from the... I thought I have seen everything. But Slodok is no traitor sir. I am sure..." Players: Christine Steichen Starbase 369 Commodore Van Nieuwenhove decides to stay safe on his starbase and let the USS Mexico do the dirty work. When the crew of the USS Mexico finds Horkan, the commodore is the first to know. While the USS Mexico is searching for Horkan the Ori Prior life on Starbase 369 continues as usual. The USS Carry leaves the station with medicines and supplies for the Denor Colony, the USS Harbour leaves following the USS Mexico on a large distance just for safety backup, the USS Napoli, USS Enchant and USS Sunrise have resumed patrol duties. The USS Energy is in spacedock for an upgrade of the sensors and shield generators. Just another day in the fleet. But things are about to change... A small civilian ship called Zerdozza, Captain Quasor in command, has been intercepted by the USS Enchant. During the conversation with Captain Quasor, he mentioned he has seen an entire population whiped out by one man when he was in orbit of a planet called Jakozona. That is all he wants to tell... The Zerdozza jumps to warp with the USS Enchant in pursuit. Players: Geert Van Nieuwenhove USS Thunderbolt Borg Cube 77469-A... We have found new technology, prepare to assimilate. The cube approaches a small ship with a crew of seven. The Borg have not yet encountered the species aboard the small ship. "You will lower your shields and prepare to be boarded. You will be assimilated to service us. If you do not comply, you will be destroyed." In their usual style the Borg try to convince their victims to participate in the Borg Collective happyness. But Captain Loit Hertam does not agree. Even more... He has a little trick to have the Borg remember him and his ship, the freighter Lady Bell. His answer is very clear. "I am Captain Loit Hertam in command of the Lady Bell. You can try to assimilate whatever you want, but we have an Ori Prior aboard. Now you will let us pass in peace or we will destroy you. What do you say?" But there is silence... Cube 77469-A moves a few thousand kilometers, apparently to let the Lady Bell pass... And the Trsterts can know, because they have been around for millenia traveling through space. When they tell about their travels the Kirie listen and it seems that they also are getting more interested in traveling. The only thing is that they don't want to leave their comfortable home... And then the Trsterts tell about a species they met about 500 years ago. The species called themselves Zolo. But the Zolo had to move as their star went Nova and the Trsterts lost contact. But they are sure the Zolo are out there somewhere. The Zolo were peaceful people concentrated on science and cultural activities. The Trsterts show images of the artwork they had received from the Zolo. The Kirie look in amazement. The Trsterts can only agree the art is extraordinary, but it is not that. Players: Johan Michielsens, Conny Parmentier USS Alice Cooper The crew of the USS Alice Cooper-B is getting used to having Ambassador Stevens in sickbay. Maybe that escape will bring him back to reality. If we could only communicate with him..." For Ambassador Stevens the dreams are very real. He is not aware of his real situation... Players: Crew of the USS Alice Cooper Ovion (Hirogen/Ori Hunting Vessel) While the Ori Prior Horkan travels further and preaches the way to salvation he does not know he is followed by at least one Starfleet vessel closeby. More Starfleet ships are on his trail. Even the Borg are now hunting Horkan who has no idea and thinks he eventually convert all people in this galaxy to serve and worship the Ori. Thousands of lightyears away from Horkan a small Borg planet receives a visitor. He looks like a monk, but he is not. He introduces himself as Jotarn and ask the Borg to listen to him, but the drones do not respond. The man starts telling the Borg about the Book of Origin and before he can tell them about the way to salvation, the drones have already engaged him in a fight. They don't know about the Drakh and they don't care. The only thing is that they study the movement of the stars. After many months just when things seem to begin to get boring one of those scientists, Doctor Lenertom starts shouting. "Movement. I can see movement." But the other scientists are not convinced. Movement of a star cannot be seen with the naked eye. To convince his collegues Doctor Lenertom puts his data on the main viewer. And indeed the other scientists have to agree the satrs are moving and they are moving fast. But one of them is a bit more critical. "Those are no stars. Oh my... Ships. Use all means necessary to catch him and his crew. He has to tell you all about it." The small civilian ship called Zerdozza, Captain Quasor in command, is no match for a Federation starship and it takes almost no time at all before it has been intercepted by the USS Enchant. Captain Quasor has no choice than to tell what he knows. The Zerdossa was on its way to trade with the Kulonara in sector 346754, when he saw three ships in orbit of a configuration he had never seen. He stayed at a safe distance. Lucky for his crew and himself he did that as less than an hour later a massive energy wave spread all over the planet whiping everything out. When the three ships had left, he piloted his ship into orbit. Everything was destroyed and there were no survivors. Later Quasor heard that these powerful beings were lead by an Ori prior called Horkan. An he should stay away from this Horkan. Apparently this horkan was recruiting religious slaves. And all who would not follow the path of enlightment was destroyed... "If the Zolo can be found, we could bring them in contact with the Kirie who seem to have known them. Some misteries could be solved." But there is no way to know where to look for the Zolo. The Scaton Federation offers help and sents out scouts, lots of scouts. One way or the other the Zolo will be found. Even the Trsterts send out scouts in their very advanced ships. One thing is certain. The Kirie have had contact with the Zolo after the Zolo star went nova. So there must be Zolo still out there. After a few weeks already 94 planets have been visited and the local population are shown the Zolo artwork. But without success, until one of the Trsterts scouts has found a planet where artwork like the Zolo artwork is found. The owner has bought the artwork from an independant trader. But that was a very long time ago. This trader is tracked and found. He explains he bought the artwork from a planet not that far away from the Scaton Federation. The search continues. Atad, you can scan the planet from orbit. If the man uses somekind of powerful energy it will be detected and that form of energy can be examined. But we will also send an away team to have a look what this man is doing on the planet. Maybe it is indeed Horkan this is what we will do because it would be stupid to let them know we are here, so we will hide." In over thousands of years of war nobody seemed to have card about other things. But the crypt of Ginoram seeme to have been untouched. although the door was not even locked, the Moeral had easily be able to break in and damage or steal anything in the crypt. But they didn't. Maybe the Moeral had no idea the crypt of the greatest worrier of the Sermat is here. But then again this is deep into Sermat territory. Christine finds all kinds of objects, jewelry, a large sword, a shield, probably all property of Ginoram. The sword is still extremely sharp. But it seems there is nothing more than dead objects. Taking something doesn't feel right. Then Christine sees a small shiny object, no bigger then a notebook. Carefully she opens the object. A small projection appears. Clearly it is a projection of Ginoram. The projection starts to speak. "Take me to Knolar. He has been killed in battle thousands of years ago, but his spirit is till with us. But when the 369th fleet arrives at the Ori ships and Horkan have already left. Captain Sigrid Johansson reports to Starbase 369. "Commodore. We are in pursuit of the trail of the Ori ships, but by the looks of it they have a head start of a few days. We will keep you posted." The channel is closed. Commodore Van Nieuwenhove sits down on his comfortable chair. As he thinks about the situation with this Horkan internal sensors detect an intruder. "Intruder alert. Intruder alert." It is as if he has expected this woman. he adresses her before she can continue her story. "So you are one of the twelve. You will not have any success here. "I would put it in a holding cell, magnetically sealed so it can't communicate with anything outside her cell. But it is no danger here so I will have you decide what you want to do with it. So these are the latest reports from the scouts at the border of Borg space. Nothing unusual." Without an other word Master One leaves. The blond woman called Caprica seems to be speachless for a few seconds. But then she regains her selfconfidence. "We think you are the chosen one Guillaume. I can call you Guillaume, can't I. The starbase is under attack by the Ori Prior Horkan. They are completely defenseless. Everything they fire on this Ori prior doesn't have any effect. It is worse than the Borg sir.
